Westtown School

This PreK-12, Quaker, day and boarding school sits within 600 idyllic acres. The campus’ arboretum, forest, organic farm, and lake help the school encourage students to be stewards of the natural world. We therefore prioritized tree protection when designing the dining hall’s terraces, pedestrian circulation, access road, and vegetated swales. This sensitive approach celebrates the campus’ natural beauty and preserves views while enhancing the site’s ecological resilience. Biodiverse plantings enhance the landscape experience and offer biophilic value to students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
